WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Ireland has produced some incredible young tech entrepreneurs over the years. Many of today’s Irish entrepreneurs are excelling in the areas of technology related industries and products, most notably the Collison brothers who founded Stripe when they were just 19 and 22 years old. Tech Company workshop is our favourite workshop and truly is an exciting experience for either Primary or Post primary students. Working collaboratively in teams students will found and develop their very own tech company. The company can be a tech/digital product, a piece of software, an application or anything which falls under the ‘Tech Company’ umbrella (this will be judged by your workshop instructor!).
Students will be guided and mentored through the process of investigation and market research, possible solutions, development of ideas, manufacture or development, testing and evaluation, marketing + other crucial areas.
At the end of the week students will present their brand new tech company concept to their classmates and to guest experts within the tech sector. The future founders of Facebook could be upon us!

- Workshops are 22 hours per week

Each student workshop is €75 per student per week.

15:00 - Return to home/school
Presentations take place on Friday afternoons, we finish at 14:30 on Fridays.
